Paula M. Hahn joined EFL Associates in April 2007 as a Staff Consultant. In October of 2007, she was promoted to the role of Vice President and Consultant and is responsible for all aspects of the executive search process including working with clients to fully understand the organization and executive recruiting needs, developing search strategy, candidate sourcing, client management, candidate evaluation and project closing.

Hahn joins EFL Associates after fifteen years with Midland Loan Services, Inc., the whollyowned subsidiary of PNC Bank, N.A., a member of the PNC Financial Services Group (NYSE:PNC). She began with the company in 1991 as the Director of Legal and Compliance, managing the corporate compliance function including the development and implementation of EEO and Affirmative Action plans and procedures. In 1995 she was promoted to Director of Human Resources, Senior Vice President where she supervised a staff in delivering the full spectrum of HR services, including training and development, recruitment and retention, employee relations, compensation and payroll processing, benefits administration, performance management and corporate communications and compliance. A large part of her role involved administering the recruitment and retention efforts for the company, including sourcing, screening and orientation. Hahn also drove the corporate initiative to identify and assess executive competencies for senior management.

Since Hahn joined EFL Associates, she has worked with a number of corporate and not-forprofit leaders on various executive search assignments and has completed projects ranging from President/CEO to General Manager. Her unique educational experiences and roles within a large corporation allow Hahn the perspective to truly partner with her clients in determining the strategic implications of a successful hire and finding the right qualifications and cultural fit in prospective candidates.

Hahn obtained her Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from the University of Kansas. She holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the University of Kansas, Master of Science in Contracts and Acquisition Management (M.S.) from the Florida Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts with an emphasis in political science from the University of Wisconsin. Hahn also holds Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification.

Hahn has served as adjunct faculty with Baker University and the Keller Graduate School. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), a member of the American Corporate Counsel Association and served as a Director with the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce for two years. In the community, Hahn enjoys an active affiliation with Special Olympics and other area programs serving special populations.
